Bamboo board, as an eco-friendly and practical material, is a type of panel manufactured from natural bamboo through modern processing techniques. The production process begins by splitting bamboo into strips, which are then boiled and carbonized to enhance their anti-insect and anti-mold properties. Next, the strips undergo high-temperature drying to reduce moisture content below 10%, significantly minimizing deformation risks. Finally, the bamboo strips are aligned according to their grain patterns, bonded with eco-friendly adhesives, and pressed under high pressure to form sturdy, smooth panels.
JULYBAMBU-produced bamboo boards utilize environmentally certified adhesives that comply with European E0-E1 eco-standards, making them a healthy choice for indoor furniture. The boards support full-size customization, allowing flexible adjustments in specifications to meet diverse application scenarios based on client requirements.
There is a wide variety of bamboo boards. They can be categorized by manufacturing process into natural, carbonized, zebra and ,strand woven panels; and by structure into flat-pressed (Horizontal), side-pressed (Vertical), I-beam bamboo panels, and cross laminated, among others.
Retaining bamboo fibres’ high hardness and natural flexibility, such boards outperform ordinary wood in physical properties, offering wear resistance and compressive strength. This material is a sustainable green resource, thanks to bamboo’s rapid growth cycle of 3-5 years. Widely applied in architectural decoration (e.g., bamboo flooring, wall panels), furniture design (tables, chairs, cabinets), and handicraft creation (tea trays, carved ornaments), bamboo boards not only align with environmental principles but also infuse modern living spaces with natural textures and traditional ecological wisdom.
