OUR POLICIES ON SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING
Our internal policies reflect our dedication to ethical and transparent business practices. We have established several policies to ensure that our business is conducted in an ethical and transparent manner, including:
Recruitment Policy
We have a comprehensive recruitment policy that includes verifying the eligibility of all directly employed staff to work in China. We also audit recruitment agencies within our approved framework to ensure that pre-employment checks have been conducted for agency staff, thereby guarding against human trafficking or forced labor.
Equal Opportunities
We have implemented a range of measures to protect our employees from mistreatment or exploitation, in full compliance with Chinese laws and regulations. These measures include providing fair wages, equitable terms and conditions of employment, and access to training and development opportunities.
Whistleblowing Policy
We operate a whistleblowing policy that assures all employees they can report concerns about the treatment of colleagues or practices within our business or supply chain without fear of retaliation.
Supply Chain Management
Our approach to supply chain management includes:
Carefully selecting suppliers who adhere to our standards.
Immediately terminating business relationships with any supplier that fails to meet or cannot demonstrate compliance with our standards.
Training
All relevant employees receive training to understand modern slavery and our policies and procedures for combating it.
RISK ASSESSMENT AND DUE DILIGENCE
We identify suppliers at high risk of modern slavery and conduct more thorough investigations accordingly. We will not engage in business with any entity that does not meet our standards.
MEASURING EFFECTIVENESS
We assess the effectiveness of our measures to ensure that modern slavery is not present in our business or supply chain through the following means:
No reports from our employees, the public, or law enforcement authorities indicating the presence of modern slavery practices.
Monitoring the completion rate of our modern slavery training programs.
